Information we may collect
Name, telephone number, email address, property/service address, service requested, messages, photographs or documents you choose to provide, quotation/project information, website security logs and AI chat or AI call transcripts where those features are used.
Why we use it
To respond to enquiries, take steps at your request before entering a contract, prepare and administer quotations, perform contracts, manage customer service and complaints, keep appropriate business and legal records, protect the website and establish or defend legal claims.
Depending on the activity, our lawful basis may be steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations or legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business. Marketing is not inferred merely from submitting a service enquiry.
AI services
When you use AI chat or AI call handling, the content you submit can be sent to OpenAI through the company's server-side integration so that a response or transcription can be produced. Voice use involves microphone audio during the session and a transcript may be sent to the company by email for follow-up. Do not submit passwords, payment-card data, medical data or other highly sensitive information.
Who we may share information with
Hosting, email and IT providers; AI service providers where you use the AI features; professional advisers; insurers; suppliers or subcontractors where necessary to deliver an agreed service; and public authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Enquiry information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, record keeping, disputes and legal obligations. Contract, invoice and accounting records may need to be retained for longer statutory or limitation periods. Records are deleted or anonymised when no longer reasonably required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed. Contact us first if you would like us to investigate.
